Delivery – Packing & Freight
We normally carry adequate inventories of both type of bags and can usually arrange delivery the day following an order being placed. We can also do customised variations on the shape, colour, stitching and weight.
Delivery is normally made via Toll Express who provide an excellent tracking system but other freight companies can be used if specified.
All orders will be confirmed within 24 hours by phone, clarifying how and when delivery will be made.
We will always contact you after receiving your order to confirm with you the delivery costs to your specific location before finalising your order.
Normal stock orders will usually ship within 24 hours of payment being made.
On despatch a confirmation email with tracking number will be sent.
Orders larger than 20 are packed on pallets and wrapped in clear wrap
The bags are normally packed on pallets in batches of either fifty or one hundred and are sealed in shrink wrap.
Due to the heavy nature of this product either unloading facilities or customers own labour to unload from the delivery transport at time of delivery is required. Otherwise additional charges may apply for unloading and handling.
There are no hazardous materials involved, but the customer needs a forklift at their end to unload the stacked pallets or alternatively pay for a tail gate lifter on the delivery truck, or provide their own labour to unload the Sand Bags.
We offer Free delivery in the Sydney Metropolitan area for orders of fifty (50) bags or more.
For any location other than Sydney Metro – which is a free delivery – we will calculate and tell you the correct exact delivery charge when contacting you following your order. An updated order with accurate delivery charges and GST will be sent to you following that for payment.
Customer pick up from our warehouse located in the Sydney Hills district is available subject to arrangements being made beforehand.

Delivery calculations
The delivery calculations can be complex with this type of product so we will calculate a custom costing for your specific order and delivery location to get you the best available price. We will always contact you after receiving your order to confirm with you the delivery costs to your specific location before sending you an invoice.
All Sydney metro orders over 50 units will be free of delivery.
What is classed as metro? a rough guide:
- From the Hawkesbury River Bridge to the start of the expressway at Engadine
- From Windsor through to Campbelltown
- To the west we consider Lapstone Hill as the outer limit.
As for outside this defined metro area there are a lot of variables that affect freight costs.
A standard pallet is 110cm x 110cm & 40cm for 50 units or 70cm for 100 units.
Total transport weight is the number of units x weight of bag plus the Pallet weight of 20kg
Freight indications for orders 50units & over:
1 pallet of 420kg to Brisbane Queensland, Vic and S.A (50x8kg plus 20kg pallet) $3.20 per bag

They usually use toll IPEC but do compare shipping costs with other carriers.
